Erin is part-time faculty at The Pennsylvania State University and developer/instructor of a new Penn State course, introduction to art therapy, at the undergraduate level (available for student enrollment Spring or Fall 2019). If you are interest in learning more about the field of art therapy, Erin recommends exploring the American Art Therapy Association’s website or purchasing Introduction to Art Therapy.
Erin’s first children’s book, Pajama Mama Monday, was published in 2017. What began as a play day for her own son became a lovely children’s book (future series!). She’s currently working on ideas for future publications.
Erin also holds a Bachelor of Science in Family and Child Sciences with a concentration in Psychology from The Florida State University. She worked her way through college as a teacher’s assistant at a Montessori school, has facilitated art therapy with various populations and is the author/illustrator of children’s books. Despite all of her wonderful work experience, Erin has found that time spent with her family is the most rewarding. She postponed her doctoral studies to focus on being a Mama and to spend more quality time with her children. The best part: working from her home office she gets to spend a lot of quality time with her own pajama pals. She could not be happier.
